Areas of interest/research: Coinage, Economic History and Archaeology of Rome and the Roman Provinces (particularly Greece and the East); Coin finds of Roman-Byzantine Age in Northern Italy (especially Veneto and Trentino); Coin finds (Greek coins of Magna Graecia and Roman coins) in Southern Italy (especially Basilicata); Collecting of ancient coins in Northern Italy between the 16th and the 18th centuries.
