3000 pieces. Coins and medals relating to maritime history and the history of the RMG/Old Naval College site.

Specific strengths: Re-engraved coins, Vernon medals, part of the Greenwich hoard, naval commemoratives. War medals, British and Foreign decorations, Lifesaving and Gallantry Awards.

Library: 24 vols listed in Caird library catalogue (excluding works on awards and on medalists). Books on naval and lifesaving awards, British Orders. Library has specific strengths in Gallantry Awards, Orders and War medals presented to 20th century Naval Commanders.
