MONEY & MEDALS
The Money and Medals Network is a Subject Specialist Network that aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of coins, medals, tokens and paper money in British collections.
Funded by the British Museum, Arts Council England and The Vivmar Foundation the Network aims to facilitate dialogue and debate around research methodologies, interpretation, display and learning programmes.

The Money and Medals Network, in partnership with Museum Development North West, presents a day of training for people working or volunteering with medal collections in museums. The event will feature an introduction to commemorative and military medals as well as training seminars on documentation and display. Attendees will also gain an insight into the creative process behind the production of modern art medals.

Scottish Coins & Medals
The Hunterian at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow

The Money and Medals Network exists to build and develop relationships between UK museums with collections of coins, medals, banknotes, tokens and associated numismatic objects.
Join us at this free event at The Hunterian at Kelvin Hall, Scotland's new coin centre in Glasgow. Speakers will explore a variety of topics relating to Scottish numismatics and the display of objects. There will also be the chance to view The Hunterian's major exhibition for 2018-19, 'William Hunter and the Anatomy of the Modern Museum.'
