Is there a study facility? No but there is a multipurpose area with a table etc. nearby.

Is there a handling collection? No.

Does the museum offer a service for identifying objects and other public enquiries? We don’t actively offer an identification service but we do respond to enquiries whether they’re directly linked to the collection or not.
Is there any numismatic expertise in-house? If so, who, and in what areas? No but we have more general art historical & archaeological knowledge.
Is there access to external expertise? If so, who and in what areas? Yes, there is expertise at the World Museum Liverpool, part of National Museums Liverpool.
